You know, people that grew up w...Very nice, thanks. You know, people that grew up with the depression often never felt secure. Maybe his business ventures were the only way he knew to cushion himself and his family from those feelings. And, the fact that so many in this area are employed due to the retail mecca his company built cannot be ignored. It's a tough balance: growth means economic health, but it also means loss of open spaces. And yet, this country still has many preserved open spaces to be thankful for, and many others who work for sustainable development.
